After 30 years experience in the hotel and restaurant business, Paul joined the Atlântico in 2003, initially to assist in the running of the restaurant. However, his culinary prowess could not be ignored and he soon took over the exceptional kitchen you find today. No matter how busy the restaurant is Paul will always find time to escape from the kitchen to say hello to the guests and ensure your meal exceeds your expectations.
Joanna is the 'maître d' always with a warm welcome for their guests. Joanna also takes care of the restaurant administration.
Mariya has been a valuable assistant to Paul, in the food preparation for the last 11 years. Mariya is intimately familiar with all the activities of the kitchen and is prepared to do them in a pinch. She prepares and cook food, and knows all styles including such skills as Portuguese and Fusion cooking. As assistant to Paul, Mariya helps with menu planning, inventory, and managing of supplies. You may not see her, but if you do make sure you say hello!
